It works… cost 1200 per session.

I have my whole face done for $1200AU per session. There is also a gel and cream to use after add approx $80AU. But the results are fantastic for acne and brown spots. Skin looks new after 3 sessions I plan to have 6 sessions and maybe have one session each year after that as I age. It’s fab for ppl who have had acne scarring or brown spots!!

how expensive would one treatment be?

If you are THAT worried about “years from now” then DON’T bother to do this.

Dolly admits to having had everything available. Barbara Walters is 79, so you know she has had it all.

  6. metaljar02 says:

how much it would cost in total?

I’m interested in your comments about “temporary,” latifi1. Do you know of someone in the field or of someone personally who has had it done? Even if it were temporary, I don’t think most would object to looking prettier for just a few years.

I think most plastic surgery is temporary, but for those who could afford it, it must be fun while it lasts. Have to admit, Dolly Parton and Pam Anderson look pretty darn good. Don’t know what types of surgery they’ve had though.

I don’t think I explained myself very well. I’m thinking that if you’re out in the sun too long & the sun damages your skin below the surface, you don’t get brown spots not right away. You get them 10 or 15 years later. So if they burn your skin in the same way by laser, could it be possible that after 10 or 15 years, you might get worse brown spots than if you had left them alone to start with — or even melanoma? Although I’m scared of these things, you’ve probably already asked.

It just like all other lasers, you get new skin that grows after a couple of months. What you do with it after , sunburn it, take care of it (with suncreens etc), or whatever is all up to you. After 3 blasts with the fraxel laser, my skin is soooo smooth, skin tone is even and fresh and brown spots have all but disappeared. I wear a total sunblock now only because I want to. It’s like a chance at a new beginning.

I wish I could see videos from people who had it done 10 or 20 years ago but I don’t suppose it goes that far back. I’m very concerned about skin damage occurring years later, like it would from a very bad sunburn.

  11. tracy10UT says:

What concerns me about this is, would your skin react many years later as if it had been damaged by sun? I mean, might a person end up with much more skin damage then than she might have had otherwise? (Esp. with things like brown spots).

  12. mossruut says:

It does work. I’ve had it done. Takes about 3 months for the final results.

  13. latifi1 says:

thats how dermatology cells laser…more money for them! this stuff doesn’t work …effects r too temporary
