Spa treatments are fine during pregnancy, just stay out of hot tubs IF you know you are pregnant :)

  2. Mary N says:

If your spa includes a hot tub then no. Hot tubs are not smart when you are hoping for a good pregnancy.

yup thats fine actually it will probably do you some good because relaxing can increase your chances of conceiving. and there is very little chance that if you were already pregnant it would do any harm. good luck and baby dust!

  4. Charlene H says:

go for it… relax and enjoy the day! If you are already pregnant, no hot tub or sauna… too high body heat is bad for baby. Otherwise, enjoy!

If you are worrying about getting pregnant and causing harm, I would opt for spa treatments that are baby safe. Even though your not pregnant yet, if you were to conceive soon you dont want to risk anything. There are a number of treatments that are available that are healthy for pregnant women. I would avoid things like chemicals and lotions applied to the skin, Heat that would raise your internal body temperature, and overly rough massage.
