What is the Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment? Sometimes I see it written as BKT also.

Thanks!

From what I understand, BKT is a hair treatment design to get hair straight.

It’s rather smelly and must be done by a professional.

    Hope that helps.

The Brazilian Keratin Treatment is an awesome process that will keep your curly or wavy hair straight for about 3 months. The process takes several steps to complete, but basically you are sealing the Keratin onto your hair with a straightening iron that goes to 450 degrees or beyond. I did this about a month ago and absolutely love the results. You can get it done professionally for about 300 bucks, but I went ahead and did it myself at home. I bought the 2.5 oz treatment on Ebay for 35 bucks and it took me about 2 hours to complete. It’s one of the best beauty decisions I’ve ever made. My wavy coarse hair is so soft, shiny, straight & easy to style now. I’ve written a product review and step by step instructions on the treatment which you can view on the Associated Content website at this link: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/508171/colleen_lindstrom.html

it’s the perfect product for straightening your hair for at least two to three months with a ironing over and over again
